Sue declares that she will take the ticket, because she needs to see New York and tries to leave. Will stops her asking her why she wants to go there since she seems to hate the city.

Sheldon states how he knew that something like that would happen anyway.
Will asks what it has to do with him. Sheldon explains that it was Vocal Adrenaline who did it as Will looks angry, saying that no one gets away when it has something to do with his friends. Sue interjects, saying she always has. In the Carmel auditorium, Will argues with the members stating how it's unacceptable what they did to Beiste's car, telling them that their decency and honesty is more important than winning. In flashbacks, she tries to give ideas for his bar mitzvah. Myron states angrily that he wants it to be fresh, not unoriginal, and wants it to be about him, asking Janet the jail secretary to get him his espresso.

Mason and Madison share annoyed glances. Spencer finishes the song, everyone applauding him. Rachel looks horrified by this. Back-stage of the auditorium, Myron is trapped in a stage-pod. Will states that the rope is stuck. Sue tells Spencer to climb up the rope and get it unstuck. Spencer disagrees, turning to Roderick. Spencer states that he knew he was dick before, but that was the wrong kind of dick, so he wants to be the right kind of dick now, telling he he can do it.
Kitty then says that they should just find a ladder, but Spencer tells her that Roderick can do it. Roderick begins to climb up. He reaches up, and makes the rope come lose. Everyone rushes to Myron, except Spencer. Sue asks Kitty to get butt wipes, and get gummy bears. Spencer then states he wants Roderick as well.
On stage; Jane, Spencer and Roderick perform Uptown Funk, everyone dancing along, Superintendent Harris, especially getting into the music. Some of the audience members go on stage, and dance along with them, until the other members of the New Directions come on stage.

Reassured, he tells them it's showtime. On stage, Sam calls everyone to their place, as Will and Sue talk, Sue stating that her plan is about to commence.
Will states that it will starts when he trips her up, on stage, in front of 13 year olds. Myron comes on stage with his stage-pod, everyone in the audience screaming happily. As the song ends, ribbons fall all around the place, Spencer and Mason lifting Myron on their shoulders. In the choir room office, Will and Rachel are discussing something, as Myron and Sue walks in.
Rachel asks if they were here to thank them for his bar mitzvah, but Sue states that Myron is now a new student at McKinley, who wants to join the club. He runs into the choir room, Rachel screaming to him to not touch the piano.
Sue states that she told Superintendent Harris, but he ignored her and made his old middle school get a petition, to state the Myron is extremely talented, that he needs to go to high school. Sue states that this is just the first battle to end all wars, saying she does not retreat, but reload.
She leaves, pushing students around. In voiceover mode, she says she became principal to become the best in the state, become one of the greatest principals, and ride off on of the most endangered rhinos on the planet. If they bury her, everyone in the glee club will be buried with her. In the choir room office, Will sits as Rachel states that the glee club has changed for the better, since Alistair and Myron have come. Will tells her that some kids will disappear, while others will touch their lives, saying that its best to make a difference.
Rachel states that he made a difference with her, to which he says the same thing about her. Kitty and then sings, Myron trying to sing. Spencer and Alistair also sing, with Myron finally singing. They all dance together, and as the song ends, they join together. Will and Rachel applaud them. The Rise and Fall of Sue Sylvester. Kurt and Blaine walk in and sit, looking glum as ND continue to perform. Will goes up to them, as Jane finishes the song. He asks Kurt and Blaine what they think.
Blaine tells him that Dalton Academy burned to the ground and that there is nothing left. Will walks into the choir room, where New Directions and the Warblers are gathered.
Will continues, saying that they both need each other. Kitty asks where Rachel is. Kitty, satisfied, says okay and they all hug with Jane now looking miserable by this decision.
Will tells him that there will be challenges but he knows that, with the Warblers' enthusiasm, they can win Sectionals, and later on Nationals.
Sue states they will be not and tells them to get out of the school. Sue tells them to go away but Will tells them to stay once again.
The Superintendent informs them that she should take the meeting seriously, having Will as witness. He continues, stating that he saw her hurt locker where flashbacks are shown seeing all the things she has put around the place. He states that he could have overlooked all of that but what he saw next was her pornographic picture in a copy of Penthouse magazine. She looks devastated. Rivera then goes to break. Back in the interview, Rivera apologizes to Sue, about how things are not going her way.
He states that they declined to come. Sue realizes that the cameras are rolling, Rivera states that he lied to her. Sue states that it's character assassination, unworthy to be on Fox News. She continues, saying that she turned McKinley into a no-bully zone. Rivera states that someone had agreed with her, showing an interview with a person, who is not revealed at first. It is later shown, that it was Coach Beiste, who states that after his transition, Sue supported him. Sue looking happy, states that she refuses to apologize to anyone and that he should know that her parents were Nazi Hunters.
Rivera repeats what Doris said. Sue gets up, and punches Rivera, where she walks out. Rivera, gets back up, and asks the people if who she really is. He states that they have an interview with Will, as their final news report. He continues, that she may not be a nice person, but is an outstanding teacher, a born leader, and McKinley is worse without her, telling the Superintendent that she deserves a second chance.
The following day in the auditorium, Will teaches dance moves to the ND and the Warblers, the Warblers synchronizing perfectly. Jane states that if they are really a team, as the Warblers are wearing different uniforms. Kurt, Rachel and Blaine come on, Kurt saying they have to make changes.
Skylar states that teams wear uniforms, saying they should get a blazer, to which Blaine agrees. Enraged, Skylar states that their look is iconic, and has tradition; also becoming sexier, Myron asking for one to which the girls like Kitty asking rhetorically if girls really do like it. Will interrupts, stating that they attend McKinley now, and they need to get rid of the blazers.
Beiste interrupts them, saying they have bigger problems. Will and Sam walk in. Once seeing Sue, Sam goes out, saying its serious. Will states that he supported her, but she interrupts, bringing Brad to play on the organ. As the song ends, Sue walks off stage. Will then realizes that everyone have just been watching them, Kurt shaking his head sideways, while Rachel shaking her head up and down.
He apologizes to him, feeling awful. Rachel then states they still need to figure out on their costumes, to which Blaine states they may have fixed that. We Built This Glee Club. In the choir room, Will and the members of New Directions do a dance rehearsal for Sectionals. When they finish, Rachel applauds them and Will says they should take a break.
A member of the Warblers disagrees with Will and says they shouldn't take breaks. Super Gay Warbler joins in, reminding them that glee club will no longer exist if they lose. He also claims Sue would not be allowing Vocal Adrenaline to take breaks, stating that he saw them walking on hot coals. The scene then transitions to a flashback of Vocal Adrenaline walking over hot coals, screaming from the pain.
Sue, using her megaphone, yells that if Oprah can do it, then so can they. Back in the present, a Warbler states that they all suck. Myron proceeds to tell the Warbler that he's the one that sucks, to which another member retorts leading to a short fight between the two sides. Will is shocked, and Madison and Mason defend Will's dance moves. Skylar continues, stating that the Warblers have discussed who should be taking center stage and who should stay in the background.
The three girls in the group, Jane, Madison, and Kitty, state that they refuse to be in the back as the only girls. Spencer sticks up for Roderick, stating that they need to give him time to get the moves and justifies his presence with his powerful voice. However, The Warblers then tell Spencer that he's just as bad as a dancer, possibly even worse.
Spencer brushes the comment off and states that he only has to look good, but Super Gay Warbler states that they all look good, even Alistair.
Kitty sadly states that she agrees with Super Gay Warbler. The two move to the back, while Kitty looks guilty. The following day in the dance room, Spencer and Roderick practice their moves with assistance from Will and Kitty.
After failing to get the choreography down, Will chooses to commend them for their effort. Will tells them to take another try at it, where Kitty joins in to help the two as Will plays some music.
When they practice their spins, Spencer sprains his ankle. In the locker room, Spencer is seen sitting with his injured leg, with Sheldon, Sam, Will, Kitty, and Roderick surrounding him.
Sheldon tells Spencer that the sprain is one of the worst ones he's ever seen, but Spencer claims he's fine and can perform at Sectionals. Sheldon tells him that to put weight and dance on it will require a cortisone shot, which Spencer immediately agrees to. Sheldon however warns him of the dangers of doing so, as the cortisone shot will take away the pain, but not the injury and further stressing it can cause permanent damage.
Even when Sheldon shows Spencer his damaged knees as proof and Will and Roderick claiming it was insane to do it, Spencer insists on taking the shot. He defends his choice by stating he is an athlete who is supposed to look and be tougher than everyone else and that whatever happens after Sectionals, he will deal with it. On the following day, Will passes by Sam who is drinking from a water fountain. The two exchange greetings as Will enters the choir room, which is littered with boxes.
As the New Directions excitedly examine their new gifts, Rachel tells Will they got a special delivery. Kurt notices the return label says GLAAD and suggests that the transsexual show choir sent them as a thanks for hosting them in Transitioning. Madison exclaims that they should all open the boxes up at the same time, to which the glee club agrees. Before the New Direction members could open their boxes, Will hears a ticking sound and realizes in horror that the boxes are a trap.
He knocks the box out of Rachel's hands and onto the floor. After a few suspenseful seconds, the box explodes with glitter along with the other boxes, causing much panic to the room. After hearing another ticking sound, Will hushes the room and realizes it is coming from the piano.
Screaming for the kids to take cover, the New Direction members are horrified when the piano explodes with glitter flying everywhere. Will storms out to confront her, but is stopped when Sam vomits on Will's shoes. Sam apologizes and Will decides to find the school nurse for him. He runs to the teachers' lounge and witnesses the entire staff vomiting and Sue giggling behind a plant. Will accuses her of glitter bombing the glee club and putting eye drops in the coffee, but Sue corrects him and reveals she poisoned the entire school water system.
Will is astonished at her behavior and questions her actions, to which Sue states is revenge and will not stop until Will quits. Before Will can respond, a school nurse cries out that someone's car is on fire. Realizing that it is his, Will runs out into the parking lot to witness his car exploding. In a salon, Sue walks in, talking to her hairdresser about how her plans are almost complete.
She asks her to give her the signature haircut, so she can lead Vocal Adrenaline to a win at Sectionals. The hairdresser is revealed to be Will in a costume, where he straps her in the chair and shaves her head. The scene then switches over to the day of Sectionals, with the auditorium packed with people. The host introduces the judges: Donna Landries , Rod Remington , who have both previously judged competitions, and trainer Butch Melman with her poodle Trixie. The host then goes on to introduce the first glee club to perform, The Falconers, who sing Broken Wings, with falcons on their arms and wings attached to their arms.
Sue sneaks up on Will and Rachel, stating it's not too late to quit. Will comments on the wig she is wearing, and Rachel tells her she doesn't scare them. Sue suggests that the New Directions say their prayers as their end is here, and walks away as The Falconers finish. The audience applauds for their performance as Rachel looks on worried. The host then introduces Vocal Adrenaline as the next glee club to perform.
The group begins with We Built This City with Clint providing the lead vocals, while making use of elaborate props and dancing in synch. Will and Rachel look stunned and shocked by the performance, while Sue looks on. After finishing the number, Vocal Adrenaline began to sing Mickey , tearing off their old silver costumes to reveal blue new ones. The number also makes use of synchronized choreography and elaborate props, such as flags and shoe springs.
The Cheerio-inspired performance leaves the New Directions feeling unsettled as the audience enthusiastically claps along. Roderick glances at Spencer, who at first looks startled, but then nods. The performance ends with Vocal Adrenaline bringing out two cannons which fires two members out of them, who land near the audience, much to their shock and later admiration.
In the choir room, Spencer, who is on crutches, comes in. Will then walks in, gathering everyone and introducing the show circle traditions to the newer members of the group. Kurt states that there will be a pep talk, but Will simply laughs and says that now is not the time for him to speak and turns to Rachel.
Will insists that Rachel give a speech to the New Directions as she was the one who reformed the group, which she does. As the New Directions are introduced, Roderick walks out on stage and gets into position. In the auditorium, the teams are gathered, with the trophies and judges on the side as the host announces the winners. Though it's possible he took some choreography classes, this was never acknowledged, making his improved dance abilities seem like they came out of nowhere just for plot convenience.
In the very first episode of Glee , Mr. Schuester was shown to be a truly awful high school teacher. While he certainly had a positive attitude and was dedicated to his students, he did something absolutely unforgivable as a teacher: framing one of his students and blackmailing him. After learning that the student Finn Hudson was a decent singer, Will tried to recruit him to the New Directions. After his first attempt at asking Finn to join failed, Will acquired a small dosage of illegal substances.
He then confronted Finn and faked finding the substances in his locker. Will then blackmailed Finn, threatening to have him expelled and to take away his scholarship unless he joined his singing club. That's pretty harsh and not a great ethic for a high school teacher to follow. One of the most interesting conflicts throughout the series was the constant feuding between Mr. Schuester and Sue Sylvester.
While the beginning of Glee featured their feuding as a one way street, with Sue constantly trying to sabotage Will, Will eventually started feuding back, going so far as to sabotage Sue a few times.
While their feuding was certainly entertaining, it had an incredibly negative impact on the students, worsening their school experience and making them feel like they couldn't speak up while the two staff members were fighting. Typically in these types of aggressive conflicts, a school would let the least important of the teachers go, yet Will managed to stay at the school for several years. During the first few seasons of Glee , Mr. Schuester worked at the school as a teacher of the language from Spain.
However, it is never clarified why Mr. Schue came on board as a teacher in the first place, as he doesn't seem to have much experience with the language. Season three goes more in depth with his incompetence as a teacher, revealing that he really does not know how to speak the language and had been teaching it improperly the whole time.
While it would be understandable for an inexperienced language teacher like Mr. Schuester to get a job as a teacher at a middle school, or even an elementary school, his abilities to speak the language of Spain were well below the high school level, making us wonder why he was given a job in that department in the first place.
Most schools tend to have rules against allowing teachers to spend time with their students outside of school activities, especially public high schools. With this in mind, it should've been completely against school policy for Mr. Schuester to recruit his students Puck and Finn to join his personal a Capella group. To make matters worse, one of the other members of Will's a Capella group was Sandy Ryserson, a former teacher at the high school who had just recently been fired for inappropriately touching another student.
All in all, this a Capella group should have been a huge red flag for the school's administration. At the beginning of the second half of season one, things seemed to be looking up for Will Schuester.
He was back to work with the Glee club, he was out of the worst relationship of his life, and he was finally dating Emma Pillsbury. However, in the very first episode after the hiatus, which was also the first episode Will was with Emma, Will went and was unfaithful to his new girlfriend with the coach of Vocal Adrenaline, Shelby Corcoran.
While Will and Shelby's time together was really only a brief make-out session, it was not a good moment for Will, and it really came out of nowhere. What really made this scene so unbearable, however, was the fact that this huge mistake made by Will had no consequences whatsoever. Bryan reveals that he is now one of the top board members of the school and is strongly considering cutting the Glee club.
With the New Directions now on the verge of being wiped out, Will takes it upon himself to convince Bryan otherwise by inviting him to a night out. In other words, Will's solution to stopping Bryan from getting rid of the Glee club was to embarrass him by beating him in an audition, and then being surprised when Bryan still wants to get rid of the Glee club. Overall, it's not a great plan.
Some of Will's greatest moments as a teacher were when he witnessed a student being bullied or "slushied" in the hallway and then stepped in to stand up for the student, often disciplining the bullies. However, this evidently isn't something that Will always did, as there were a number of instances throughout the series where a student was being bullied in a hallway and Will chose to look the other way, or to watch without intervening.
While Will stepping up to stop bullying says something about his character, the times he didn't step up said something more about who he is as a person. While he doesn't like bullies, he isn't always willing to put himself in the middle in order to protect a student. One of the best driving forces of Glee is the constant feuding between Sue Sylvester and Will Schuester.
The two are seen as mortal enemies, particularly in the first few seasons, but as the series goes on, their relationship becomes a bit more confusing. While Sue and Will still regularly feud like they did in the first season, some episodes open up with Will and Sue being the best of friends, which really doesn't make much sense at all.
Essentially, the writers wanted to keep Sue as the antagonist, but at the same time, they wanted her to feel more human in a few episodes. Their solution was to completely rewrite her relationship with Will every few episodes, which in the end made both characters feel inconsistent. During the first season of Glee , Principal Figgins, irritated by the musical numbers performed by the New Directions, gave Will a list of songs that they could perform, informing Will that they are not to sing any songs not on the list going forward.
Actor, dancer, and singer Matthew Morrison starred in the series as glee club director and Spanish teacher Will Schuester. And his performance earned him nine award nominations, including for an Emmy and a Golden Globe, with three wins. Morrison said he recognizes that people are still discovering the series half a decade later due to online streaming.
However, Morrison believes the remaining cast members might reunite for a benefit concert to help a certain cause.
